The valuable omega-3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are richly contained in our purely natural salmon oil for dogs. Your darling cannot produce these in sufficient quantities themselves, as they can only be produced to a limited extent from α-linolenic acid (ALA). These polyunsaturated, essential fatty acids should therefore be supplied in sufficient quantities via feeding with our salmon oil for dogs.
Especially for long-haired dog breeds, coat care is a big issue. Salmon oil can also help to facilitate coat care by making the coat less greasy and stringy.

Caution: Salmon oil for cats has a blood-thinning effect. For outdoor cats, therefore, pay attention to a sparse dosage of the oil. Outdoor cats are generally at a higher risk of injury than indoor cats. If the fish oil is overdosed, wounds may heal less well. It is generally recommended to support wound healing, for example, with silver water spray. If necessary, you can also discuss the individual dosage for your cat with your veterinarian.
Horses also depend on valuable omega-3 fatty acids and enjoy the taste of fish oil. Especially for sport horses, a balanced diet and good nutrient supply are essential.
They not only tolerate salmon oil for horses well but also benefit from the fact that omega-3 fatty acids balance an otherwise grain-heavy feeding. Our AniForte® Salmon Oil is suitable for dogs, cats and horses in all variations. Due to the feeding amount, we recommend the smaller container sizes for cats and smaller dogs.
Please shake before use. A slight flocculation at the bottom of the bottle is a quality characteristic of the natural product.

Salmon oil should ideally be administered daily. For dogs, the recommended feeding amount is 1 teaspoon per 10 kg of body weight. For cats, 1/4 teaspoon, and for horses/ponies, 2 teaspoons per 100 kg of body weight. To increase acceptance among animals, it is ideally administered over their food.
Salmon oil is generally very well tolerated by pets. Sensitive animals may initially experience flatulence, abdominal pain or mild diarrhea. Bleeding is very rare with the correct dosage. If side effects occur, we recommend reducing the dose and consulting your veterinarian.
Salmon oil contains vital and essential fatty acids such as Omega 3 & 6, which can help maintain the health of coat and skin. Studies have shown that Omega-3 has a positive effect on cell metabolism and can support the dog's immune system. They also play an important role in brain and cardiovascular health.
The first positive effects of salmon oil are often noticeable after just 2-4 weeks. The coat feels shinier and softer and skin problems may improve. Important! If taken regularly, the full effect of salmon oil can only develop after 2-3 months.
