Our AniForte® Slippery Elm Liquid is therefore conveniently portioned and ready for immediate use – without any boiling.
Whether on holiday, at the dog park, or when you simply need something quick – AniForte® Slippery Elm Liquid is your small emergency kit for on the go or in between. Ideal for anyone who relies on natural support but doesn't always have the time or opportunity for preparation.
With its mucus-forming properties from the natural ingredients, AniForte® Slippery Elm Liquid can form a protective layer on the stomach and intestinal lining, gently supporting your pet's well-being – quickly, effectively, and always at hand.
Our standards are high. AniForte® Slippery Elm Liquid is unique in its finely tuned formula, consists of 100% natural ingredients, contains no artificial additives, and is manufactured under the highest quality standards.
The gut is much more than just a digestive organ – even in dogs and cats, it plays a central role in the immune system and general well-being.
Through food, not only nutrients but also germs, viruses, parasites, and other foreign substances enter the body. To ward them off, the intestinal flora forms an important protective barrier – no wonder up to 80% of immune cells are located in the gut. But the delicate balance in the stomach and intestines can easily be disturbed: stress, changes in diet, medication, or infections can often negatively affect digestion – common consequences include stomach irritation, digestive disorders such as diarrhea and bloating, or intolerances.
For the gut to perform its functions optimally, targeted support from within is beneficial – especially through selected natural substances that have proven effective. The unique combination of slippery elm bark, natural bog powder, and psyllium husks in AniForte® Slippery Elm Liquid addresses precisely this – gently, naturally, and ideally for sensitive animals.
Slippery elm bark is a proven classic in natural medicine – especially when it comes to sensitive stomach and intestinal areas. For our AniForte® Slippery Elm Liquid, we exclusively use the original American red elm bark (Slippery Elm), known for its mucilaginous properties.
Upon contact with water, the slippery elm bark forms a gel-like, slimy mass. This forms a protective film on the stomach and intestinal lining, where it can have a soothing and beneficial effect. The long-chain sugar molecules (polysaccharides) it contains are largely responsible for this special effect. Studies show that slippery elm bark can stimulate mucus production in the digestive tract, thereby not only helping to support natural gastrointestinal function but also assisting in the easier passage of swallowed hairs – for example, in cats – through the intestines.
Peat powder is derived from thousands of years old, organically enriched material that has formed in deeper layers of the earth through natural decomposition processes. It contains a variety of valuable substances – especially humic acids, minerals, and trace elements – which are traditionally used to support the gastrointestinal tract.
The valuable natural bog powder can bind excess acids and harmful substances in the digestive system, thus contributing to the calming of the stomach and intestinal lining. Especially after diarrhea or changes in diet, it can gently regulate digestion without burdening the organism.
Due to its strong adsorptive properties, the bog powder supports a balanced intestinal environment and can naturally contribute to stabilizing digestion – even in sensitive animals.
For AniForte® Slippery Elm Liquid, we use finely processed, purified natural bog powder from controlled origins – gently processed and naturally free from artificial additives.
Psyllium husks are the seed coats of the Plantago ovata plant and are known for their exceptional swelling capacity. They can bind several times their own weight in water – creating a gel-like substance that spreads in the digestive tract and can naturally support bowel movements. Especially with soft stools or irregular bowel movements, psyllium husks can have a regulating effect: they increase volume in the intestines, slow down intestinal transit during diarrhea, and stimulate natural peristalsis in sluggish digestion – completely without irritants or chemical additives.
In combination with slippery elm bark and natural bog powder, psyllium husks complete the unique formula of AniForte® Slippery Elm Liquid. They contribute to the optimal distribution of the mixture in the digestive tract, allowing its mucilaginous properties to fully unfold – gently, supportively, and highly tolerable.
Tip: If your pet doesn't immediately like the taste of AniForte® Slippery Elm Liquid, you can simply mix it with some cooled meat broth or refine it with a tasty topping such as some juice from wet food or fresh meat. Also, AniForte® Beef Blood Powder or a little desiccated coconut can help improve acceptance.
Alternatively, the finished mixture can also be drawn into a syringe without a needle and given directly into the mouth.
Dogs up to 10 kg: 10 g 2 x daily

Administer the syrup 30 – 45 minutes before regular feeding. Do not mix AniForte® Elm Bark Liquid with food, as the strong mucilage formation can prevent the absorption of nutrients.
Note: Please knead the pouch briefly before use to ensure the ingredients are evenly distributed. Store in a dry, sealed container. Protect from heat. After opening, store in a cool place and consume within 3 days.
